Monarch Bridal is a retailer (retired) controlled bridal line. Monarch allows you to carry your own private label gowns, with a profit margin that is unheard of with traditional advertised brands. These gowns are well made and the styles are proven sellers. Typical mark-ups are from 3 to 6 times depending on your geographic area and type of store, making Monarch extremely profitable.
Monarch gowns are not advertised. You are encouraged to sell these as your own in-house brand and put your own labels on the gowns. Because there is no store locator, and no searchable brand, you can't be price shopped. Participating stores are granted territories.
Private lines are the way independent bridal shops can survive with today's cyber savvy brides.
